HOME GROWN FAMILIES
Hello!! My name is Melissa and I started this blog as a way to share our experiences with our family and friends, help others green their homes, and share our adventure with homeschooling. Since I began in December 2009, Home Grown Families has really grown into sooo much more than I could have ever expected! Because of the rapid growth, I was able to bring on Tiffany to help to Home Grown Families to the next level!
We both choose to live as naturally as possible, and this blog is a journal of our journey into natural living. You can expect to read about breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing, co sleeping, organic eating, delay vaccinating, homeschooling/unschooling, natural birthing, recycling, and all other earth loving things.
We love sharing ways to help women grow as individuals, as Christians, and as mothers. We feel called to talk about women rights, attached parenting, religion, and other sometimes controversial issues. We are here to discuss it, as we feel many mothers are feeling the same way. I hope that you feel comfortable to share your feelings and thoughts on issues like this. While we don't expect everyone to agree, we expect everyone to respect one another- remember we are all in this together no matter how different our opinions may be.

I love reading your blog - I too have started a new "mommy" blog since I became a new mom in February. I used to blog before that but not consistently like I am now! I wondered if you have any tips to share about getting sponsors and giveaways to partner with your blog? I have had a teeny bit of luck so far, but I notice your blog is quite successful and wondered if you had a "secret" to share or if you just continually contact companies? Thank you so much!
