The boys had a blast playing in their Cheerio sensory bin today. I got to use up some stale cereal, got 2 hours of me time, and the boys got some hands on learning. I poured their construction set in there, and let them pretend to work the ground. I will be using this more this week, so stay tuned.
**Update: My kids still really love this bin- stale yes but still a fav!
Ways to enhance your Cheerio sensory bin:
add bottle tops for a circle lesson
bury dino bones and have them find them!
HAVE FUN~~

What an awesome way to use old Cheerios!
What a great sensory tub! We buy our cereal at a discount supermarket... sometimes its stale before we finish it up! I will have to create something like this next time it happens.
Now that looks like fun
You clever gal, you! So simple, but totally amazing! What fun!!
Pink and Green Mama has a bunch of boxes like this. I think we are going to make an "underwater/mermaid" box. :)
What a cool idea!! I may have to use this idea.
Hey! Just found you at Friday Follow and thought I'd stop by. Feel free to stop by and follow my blog at http://jessicaslilcorner.blogspot.com
Very neat idea. My little boy would be so thrilled with this :)
I have just started a Sensory Tub Ideas List, it would be great if you link this idea up to it - http://ourworldwideclassroom.blogspot.com/2010/02/sensory-tubs-ideas-list.html
That's a great idea - my son needs to do more sensory stuff so I might try this. I'm told the more sensory stuff only helps to improve his "talking" (he is almost 2 and doesn't have many words yet).
