Homeschool Product Review: Money Savvy Generation Money PIG!

Our economy is at an all time low, and it is imperative that we teach our children to be responsible with money. My son is 4 years old, and while he is already interested in earning money he does not understand the meaning of saving. I needed a fun way to help him save and to help him separate his money for tithing, spending, etc. Money Savvy Generation was formed for that very purpose!

Teaching Money management just got a whole lot easier with the Money Savvy Pig! Available in many different colors, it has 4 different chambers to allow your child to divide up his money! I especially like the goal stickers for each chamber- Set a goal and stick to it! Fast Eddy loves that he can see his money, and that the money comes out of the feet( the exit hole is the hoof). This savings bank is great for any kiddo age 4-11.

As a homeschooling mother, I am always looking for products that make learning fun! This pig is a great hands on math tool! Money Savvy Generation also has some other great educational products including other savings banks shaped as a Football or Cow. They also have coloring books, Money Books, teen finance organizers and more! If you are looking for a complete money responsibility kit, they have that too!

The Money Savvy Kids Home kit includes a Pig, Cow or Football bank, parent handbook, student workbook, CD-ROM, coloring and activity books, and a poster! You can view samples of the lessons here! This kit cost just $39.99 and is great for kids age 6-11!

It is our job as parents to ensure our children grow up to be responsible adults! Money Savvy Generation is there to help us do that!

BUY IT: You can buy this awesome Money Savvy Pig for $16.99 on their website.

WIN IT: Money Savvy Generation has generously offered to give one reader a Smart Pig in their choice of color!

This is such a wonderful concept. I'm going to get one for my daughter and 3-year old niece. I went to their website and they also offer a Cash Cache for tweens/teens. My 11-year old niece wants to sell crafts and make some money and the Cash Cache seems like something that would help her manage the money she will make.
