Fast Eddys Week Review

Monday, April 19, 2010

Last week was Fast Eddys birthday week, and what a busy week it was! Here are some of the highlights from the week!

BUTTERFLY ACTIVITIES:

Wing math matching: He is working hard on addition and subtraction and just loves math! I am always trying to find new ideas that will challenge him. This week he is working on adding double digits, and loved his butterfly match up game.

We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar Co-op with some friends. The boys did a hands on counting activity with these construction paper caterpillars, and they matched up the fruits to the days in the book.

Be sure to check out our butterfly crafts that I previously listed! Click Here!

OUTINGS DURING THE WEEK:

Fast Eddy has a small park birthday get together and we made some worms in mud desserts for our friends!

They had fun dancing!

We visited downtown with some friends, and of course Fast Eddy would rather climb trees than be on the ground! He just loves to climb trees!

Working hard on building legos(which he is just like his Daddy, he can build it according to the directions one time and than after that he can put it back together perfectly with out looking at the directions). He is buliding an airplane here.

Being a paleontologist for the day!

and cuddling with Daddy watching Mythbusters.

Of course he also went to Disney, so I have tons of pictures from there. This was a perfect homeschool week for us, adventure is where learning truly takes place.
