We LOVE art and all things free and messy! The kids were itching to go outside with their friends, but it was still school time so we brought school outside. I brought out watered down paint (3:1 parts) and hung up some old bed sheets from tree to tree. I let them go..........and be artists!

The neighbor kids joined in as well, and before you knew it paint was flying everywhere! Carrot Top even painted some of the kids.
The final masterpiece................the best part is I can hose these down and do it all over again tomorrow!

I love this! You are very brave! I was a pre-school teacher before I had my girls and I know that a little mess goes a long way toward kids exploring their world and being creative!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am following you now, too!!
That looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing!

What? I've never seen anybody do this before!! Thanks for the idea! And I'm totally forwarding this to my mom too (since we both have young kids).
What kind of paint did you use??? That looks like so much fun!
I just used Tempera paint and watered it down. The kids liked that they could fling the paint off the brushes!
What a fun idea.
thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday
A great idea to take painting outside and let children create on such a large scale. Thank you so much for sharing your idea with the Play Academy - hope to see you again next Friday!
It looks like they had so much fun!
that looks amazing. may have to dig out those old bedsheets :-)

I'll have to try that one at preschool.
