
We have been taking part of a local wildlife class and the boys have been loving it!! The topic this week was Flamingos! Hands on learning like this is exactly why I homeschool :)

He learned a very important thing today.......do not volunteer for something until you know what it is. He was so embarrassed all in pink- hehehe black mail :)
The kids got to use a pretend Flamingo beak(pooper scooper) to try to dig out shrimp and other little fish. I will be making one of these for home, since Carrot Top had a hard time with it. Great for hand coordination!

And some up close contact with real Flamingos!! The baby was mesmerized by their bright color and honking sounds!

that's so amazing, just looks at those pretty pink birds! my youngest is 16 months!
Aww... Sam is 15 mos too and he's 25 lbs. She's sooo sweet.
