OWL PAPER PLATE CRAFT

Friday, October 8, 2010

I LOVE THE FALL!!!
We have started learning about owls this week and there is a ton of cute crafts you can make! Here is an easy and cheap one we did yesterday!

PAPER PLATE OWL

You need

2 paper plates
2 brads
black construction paper
orange construction paper
yellow construction paper
crayons
glue
feathers- optional
First I cut out the pieces ahead of time (yes, I know my circles aren't round- lol) so all they had to do was put it together. I used the brads on the wings so the kids could make them flap!

The eyes, nose, and feet cut from construction paper.

Then I cut one plate into 2 pieces for wings and then the other plate I trimmed the top for ears.

The kids colored their little owls.

And the finished owls.......................Hoo Hoo!

Enjoy!
