I wanted to give you an update on my extra special PFMM that I posted on Friday.
That's his scar!!! (My Mom said the scar used to go all the way around your back. They must have gotten better!)
So, the story so far is that the kidney came out of his Dad just fine. In fact, the Dad went home on Sunday (surgery was Friday!!) After Tucker got the kidney it started working right away!! I guess I thought there was a 'starting up' period or something??? Apparently, there isn't- it works or it doesn't. He was doing well and almost ready to be moved out of the PICU when he got a fever. They took an x-ray and his left lung was collapsing. From what I understand, this is pretty normal and it comes from sedation and the surgery- there's not anything wrong with the lung. He was put upright in a chair and given breathing exercises to do. His fever broke the same day (Sunday) but they are keeping him in the PICU one more night for observation.
I think he's going to be OK. :)
Please, keep praying for Tucker and his dad, Nevin. Pray for their healing, comfort, and strength.
I can NOT thank everyone enough for their prayers!! This family means SO much to me and the girls. And this boy has some real potential to be an amazing man. We need more of those!! :)

Wow! I'm glad to know your little one is ok...what a scary thing to go thru though. Yes I'm sure God had his hand in this. :)
