Simon and Schuster does it again and in the perfect timing! In case your wondering............they put out another AMAZING book. This one just might be my favorite of all!

Gifts from the Heart is written by Victoria Osteen ( Joel Osteen's wife), and is a story sure to touch your heart. During a time of the year, when gifts can become all the hoopla it is so important for us to remind our children that material things do not mean the most. While this book is not a Christmas book, it talks about gift giving and really appreciating the gifts our friends and family have to offer that come from the heart( and from the Lord!).

I have already found myself referencing this book is discussions with my children- " Remember the story of the little girl and the king? What was the best gift the king received that day?". I also really love that in the back of the book, Mrs. Osteen put a Q and A section!! Is she a homeschool mom?? The questions kept the story going, and really tested comprehension!

The painted illustrations are so sweet and detailed too- this is a MUST HAVE in your child's library! You can print off some accompanying activity pages and a treasure hunt for the book too on the Simon and Schuster website!
