Veggie Tales~ 'Twas the Night Before Easter DVD Review & Giveaway

So, who doesn't love Veggie Tales?

OK. Larry and Bob and Petunia and the rest of the Crisper Crew are full of great stories for 'lil ones. And, there's always a Bible lesson involved!!

My kids were soooooo excited to receive:

on DVD. They wanted to pop in it IMMEDIATELY but I made them wait until the next morning. Evil Mama, I know.

They loved the movie! Even baby Mugsy sat and laughed and laughed at the shenanigans on the screen.

The Princess says "My favorite part was when the Pear built the robot bunny." Knuckles adds "The girl who took the girl went back to the Pastor and said 'I am sorry I took her. Will you forgive me?'" (Hey, it makes sense to her...)

'Twas the Night Before Easter is about Petunia's character, Marlee, and her wild scheme to save the old town theater in Crisper County. Eventually, Marlee's plan leads to the KIDNAPPING of Cassie Cassava.

A new character, Cassie Cassava is voice by American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle!

The ending of the movie is about forgiveness and what helping others is all about.

I was a little surprised that this wasn't an Easter story. But, it is still a good story with a great moral. The characters do talk about Jesus' resurrection at the end of the movie to tie in the Easter theme.

My kids loved this movie and I feel good about them watching it. A+ in our house!!

There is even a dance to go with the movie. The Hoppererena!!
