A Nation of Moms

This post was written for A Nation Of Moms where I am a regular contributor.

I know I 'homeschool.' and I am the homeschool contributor (who misses her deadlines by 2 or 3 months) here, but I have a confession.  I am not homeschooling anymore.  My kids are going to *GASP* public school.

Well, kinda'...  Not really but kinda'...

I have, indeed enrolled my kids in public school for the 2011-2012 school year~ but it's a cyber school.

I did it.  I never thought we'd be that family but now we are.  And it all started when I 'overheard' a conversation on FB:

I have 4 portfolios with pavcs...drives me nuts...but they are the BEST school for students with disabilities
And I was off!  It led me to delve into the world of cyber school and PAVCS~ and I made these ladies WORK for their money...

Great post. We each make choices about education for our kids for different reasons. Homeschooling, cyber schooling, public schooling, private schooling...all in their own way in individual families can be a perfect fit!

YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOUR KIDS - ALTHOUGH I LOVE HOMESCHOOLING IT'S NOT THE SAME FOR EVERYONE ELSE. IF GOD HAS GIVEN YOU PIECE THAN YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION! :)
