Organized for Homeschool- Part 2 Our school room

Thanks to my awesome husband I have a new organized floor to ceiling school room well supply room since we school at the kitchen table. I am loving it!!

First, we have our daily shelf. The bins on top hold the books needed for the day. I plan on putting workbox tags on these so he knows what bins he does on which days since we don't do every subject everyday. The bottom shelves hold dictionaries/encyclopedias, science magazines, Tag readers and fun books for the little ones. The red bins are extra supplies and any craft materials needed for the week. 

Next- All the other stuff! I needed a place to store and separate each subject so I could easily pull materials. My hubby went to work and built me some awesome shelves! We still need to add the window seat/bench that will have additional storage in it but for now this is amazing! I couldn't even wait for him to finish painting!

I bought a labeler at Walmart and set got to work labeling each compartment! My favorite section.....ABC section for letter of the week! This area holds all card games, books etc for letters! Fast Eddy likes the reading section where I put all his leveled reader books and additional materials along with his reading log for the year.

Since I am on bedrest, my husband has really stepped up on helping with school stuff! He surprised me with this great school wall in front of our dining room table. Complete with a weather chart, Calendar with velcro numbers, Yesterday/Today/Tomorrow chart, Season chart, ABC chart, cork board with behavior charts, holiday list, daily schedule, and a new white board! Of course after 2 weeks, those boards are now overflowing with little artwork.

So, that's it! My new school/supply room!! Feels GREAT to be organized and all put together! Makes the day run sooo much smoother!
