Homemade Bath Paint for Kids

Thursday, October 13, 2011

My kids LOVE to paint, but it is soooo incredibly messy that unless it is educational *GASP* I offer other alternatives.

Here is one of our alternatives this week: Bath Paint in muffin tins!

I mixed some dollar store shaving cream with food coloring and voila- easy bath paints! Little note: you really only need 1 drop or the kids may change color :) Take it from an "experienced" mother :)

I have them each a paint brush, and they spent over an hour in the tub coloring the walls, the tub and of course each other!

They had a blast and I even caught them writing letters on the wall! It was educational after all! Very little mess actually! She concentrated soo much on painting!

* The kids had a bathing suit on the bottom :)*

Great idea! My son loves "coloring" in the bath with the one soap crayon we have. This will be a great addition.

You kids are super cute! My son has long blond hair, too. I cut it a few months ago because everyone (my family) was giving me a hard time about how long it was. I really didn't like it short so now I'm letting it grow out again and I won't let anyone tell me to change it!
