Music that moves me

Sometimes when I am riding in the car, I song will play that just moves me.

Sometimes it moves me to be nearer to God, or moves me to dance, moves me to pray, moves me to tears. As a mother, crying alone in my car is a much needed relief. Everyone needs to cry sometimes.

I feel so connected through music, and almost feel like God speaks to me through them. A song will come on that was exactly what I needed to hear in that moment.

Today this is my song, God speaking to me when I need him the most.

I need Peace of mind right now.

We are expecting- baby number 4 and while we are sooo thankful for this little blessing...... we are very scared and are praying for peace.

Peace that God will see us through the ups and downs of a high risk pregnancy. Peace in the decisions we make for this baby.  Peace in his plan.

I know that this baby was in his plan, and a path has been laid for this little life. While this may have not been the path I would have chosen, there is a reason for everything. I need to learn to trust his ultimate plan for my baby and me. 

If he can move the mountains........ I have faith he can hold this baby in.

Bear with me through this pregnancy when the tears start rolling and I ride the emotional roller coaster. I will try to update everyone. Our big appt is coming up in 2 weeks with the Perinatologist, and we will have some sort of pregnancy plan for bedrest and delivery.

I do ask that you will keep us in your prayers. Pray for a baby more than 26 weeks, a healthy mom and a healthy baby. And pray for perfect peace for our family.

One thing I have always wanted to buy was Lacing Cards for my kiddos.  Knuckles could still get something out of them, even though she's 7, and Mugsy is about the perfect age to be introduced to the concept (2.)

But, with sets selling around $25 it was something I was never able to buy~ you know, the whole 1 income thing.

So, I decided to make my own.  It is SOOO easy!!

Is Society Demanding Children to Read too Early?

As some of you know, my twins are developmentally delayed.  I am still in the process of getting them diagnosed so I really have no idea what is 'wrong' with them.  This brings plenty of frustration when I'm trying to teach them how to read because I don't know the best way to do it~ or even if I should be doing it right now.

Summer Vacation~ Where would you go?

 

It's summer vacation time and Twizzlers wants to know where you and your family are heading!

My family wants to go to Disney, of course!  

Where else would two 7 year olds want to go?  Unfortunately, it's not in the budget this year. :(  My poor babies...

If only the world were run by Twizzlers.  Then everywhere we went would be like a vacation.

Where ever you are heading, make it as fun and comfortable as you can!

• Create a boredom bag. Convert a hanging travel cosmetic case into a case full of fun and hang it from the seat back in front of the kids’ seats. Consider creating fun works of art with Twizzlers

• Take your trip “online.” From GPS systems to phone applications, trips are no longer a navigation nightmare.
