I am one of those people that feels music- I let music move me. Rascal Flatts has always had the power to do that for me. God Bless the Broken Road was my wedding song- I knew the second I heard it that it was the ONE. From wedding songs to Lightning McQueen Cars music, my family has become huge fans! We seen them live twice! I was so excited to review their new album “Changed“.
Over the past few years, Rascal Flatts members have changed as people into husbands and fathers and you can feel that in this album. They are under a new record label too, so change is everywhere and they are embracing that.
Jay the Bass and vocalist says “You can feel the growth and the fact that Rascal Flatts is at it’s very core in this record. It’s got some of the most vulnerable and trasnparent material we have ever cut. Sometimes I feel like over the years we’ve been pretty light hearted as a band. We’re veterans now, talking about real life issues, and I’m proud of the fact that we maybe go a little deeper on this record”.
“Changed” album features the #1 song Banjo– and my kids love to dance to it. It is a pure country song! My favorite is All Rascal Flatts songs have the most beautiful melodies and the harmony they have is like no other.
Rascal Flatts will be touring this year around the U.S. Check out the tour list to see if they are coming to a town near you! You can find Rascal Flatts on Facebook and Twitter, and of course be sure to check out their new album “Changed”!
