I went shopping with my girls at Sam's Club to check out what was available from GE. It took us a little to get to the light bulbs because there are so many fun things to see and touch at Sam's! Our favorite is the bed displays that you can roll out. Of course, we all liked the most expensive bed the best...
As I was browsing, I realized how quiet it was. That can only mean one thing~ Knuckles was gone. I found her relaxing in the living room set up. Some people are just born to be a Princess...
I only had the twins with me, but they are enough! I don't need to add the 3 year old to make it a full blown circus!
Once they got it all out of their system, we were able to concentrate on the task at hand~ finding energy efficient, money saving GE light bulbs!
Sam's doesn't have a huge selection of every product, but their offering of GE bulbs was great! The only thing I didn't see were outside lights. I really need a new outside light! However, I did see that GE offers a great motion detector outside security light kit that I want! The bulb is nice and bright, too!

The lighting in my home is pretty much already LED! Changing over to something energy efficient and cost effective was a top priority! I did wonder, however, what big companies did to save money! Were they as committed as they said they were?
Since we had a road trip coming up, I decided to check out where I could find CFL's and LED's. Not surprisingly, companies chose LED. We found GE LED bulbs at our hotel in WV:
and NC:
In fact, the hotel in NC had over 10 LED's in the room! They give off great light for the guests and save tons of money for the hotel!
If you haven't switched already, you need to do it now! Head to Sam's Club and pick up a bunch of CFL's or LED's. You won't be sorry!

How cool that the hotel was using LEDs! When you consider how much a single home can save in a year, its just good business to convert larger building to greener, energy efficient technology!
I had to laugh at the pic of your daughter lounging. Looks like something my son would do!
I love that the hotel had energy efficient lighting too, that's awesome!
