Baby Essential: 2 Red Hens Toy Nanny Review & Giveaway

We are on the go a lot. Most families are nowadays. With my husband’s work, we travel at least 6 months out of the year to new places. I am so glad there are great companies like 2 Red Hens that provide products for a busy family on the go.
2 Red Hens was founded in 2011 by designer and “Mama Hen” Lori Holliday, a modern day renaissance woman with an eye for fashion and knack for domesticity. A former mechanical engineer, Holliday draws inspiration for her designs from her upbringing on a farm near Phoenix. 2 Red Hens Studio strives to bring function and aesthetic innovation for baby, toddler and mom. This company is based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. You can find 2 Red Hens on Facebook as well.
The Toy Nanny is just one amazing product you can find at 2 Red Hens.  The Toy Nanny is a cozy floor blanket that quickly and easily cinches up into a smart toy tote for on-the-go moms just like me. Transporting toys from grandma’s, to play dates, to the back yard has never been easier! The Toy Nanny features eight mesh pockets to keep small pieces in place. It has a soft velour interior which creates a clean play surface The water resistant backing keeps spills from soaking through. One great feature that I love is that this product is also machine washable! The Toy Nanny is available in 5 custom designed vintage-inspired patterns: Chevron Stripes, Grey Damask, Peacock Mum, Pink Lemonade and Owl Dots.
We used our Toy Nanny twice this last week and we love it. We attended a play-off football house party and also church. We brought our Toy Nanny with us to both of these events and it worked perfectly. When we packed up to watch our beloved Seattle Seahawks, my Princess wanted to help me pack up. She put our Little Man’s toys and diapers in the pockets and carried it to the van for us. She is such a great big sister and is always willing to lend a hand.
At church I pulled out the Toy Nanny (which we left in the van) and used it during the sermon in the back corner of the room. My Little Man was able to sit on the floor in the back and play with his toys and stayed quiet and happy.
The construction of the Toy Nanny is top notch. My husband even commented on the quality of the fabric, pockets, button, and velcro. It really is great quality. The Owl Dots print above that we choose is so cute too. It matches our exisiting stroller and diaper bag colors and we love it. I would like to add would be one more button so it can button on two sides and I’d like it to cinch up a little easier. The durability of the fabric makes the cinching of this product a bit more difficult, but this is an issue I don’t mind. I like that I can wipe off much of the Toy Nanny – my Little Man has already spit up on it twice. I am also very pleased that this Toy Nanny is machine washable.
We already received 3 very positive comments from family members and friends about our Toy Nanny. This is a must have product for busy families on the go, and it would make a great gift for that new baby in your life!
I highly recommend the Toy Nanny for anyone with a baby. It travels well and provides a clean environment for your infant to play with his/her toys.
