TRUE STORY: Christmas Day is chaos. Complete and udder chaos. I have a million places to be, a million things to do, and a MILLION things to remember. Well, with all the hustle and bustle the weeks leading up to the glorious day…………..I forgot a very important thing to have available on Christmas Day. Diapers.
Yes……diapers. All the children were beautiful in their holiday best, well except for the baby who sat in a t-shirt since I was terrified that she would poop on her Christmas Day dress while riding in her car seat to my mothers. That’s just what I needed right now……..all my friends and family to see my literally falling apart ~surrounded by 3 well dressed children and a baby dripping in pee from her hour long car ride. This year our local grocery store has decided it will keep it’s doors closed on Christmas(for the first time EVER) along with every other major retailer store around me. No grocery stores or department stores- were we destined to be diaperless on Christmas Day?
NOPE……………..CVS pharmacy saves the day again! And I say again because when I was out of wrapping paper at midnight….CVS saved the day……when I had a family dinner to attend and I forgot the only thing I was responsible to bring on Christmas Eve…….CVS saved the Day.
Like an angel leading the way…..I followed the signs that were leading me to a less hectic holiday.
CVS Pharmacy has a wide selection of baby needs including my much needed diapers…..Pampers! Pampers diapers continue to come up with new innovative products on improvements and CVS pharmacy proudly offers everything! I found a great selection of Pampers products at CVS including diapers, trainers and wipes!
Thankfully I found just what I needed to make Christmas Day a family day to remember!
5 ways to avoid a hectic Holiday
1* DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO DO SOMETHING. Moms make those Boy Scout cookies before the morning they are needed, make that casserole and freeze it the week before, and maybe don’t save wrapping for Christmas Eve.
2* Make a list and check it twice. Are you forgetting something? Write down even the little things you think you will never forget! Those are the things you forget……like diapers.
3*Label everything!!! Label your food items, your pans(so when your aunt tries to take your pan, at least your name is on it), your presents etc for where that item is going and who it’s for! I like to group all my presents for “like” families next to each other in a large shopping bag!
4* Don’t take on more than you can handle. This may seem like a no brainer but seriously……Mom’s we really struggle with this. No one said that Moms can”t enjoy the Holidays too. Only take on enough that will make you and others happy this year. Neighbors want you to baby sit for New Years Eve…..it’s okay to say No even if you don’t have plans 🙂
5* Remember why you are doing this. Think about why this needs to be done, or why you have to go to this place……you may seem that you need to revisit tip #4. Holidays are about memories and moments. You can’t make moments if you are only having a hectic Holiday. Your kids want you for Christmas…..they won’t remember all the requirements. Just you.
Visit CVS Pharmacy for your oh no moments, your thankful moments, and of course for the rescue Pampers!
