“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Seventh Generation. I received samples and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”
Being a parent has definitely been the highlight of my life, both rewarding and yet scary all at the same time. Being a parent means we are solely responsible for the life of another person. THAT’S SOME BIG RESPONSIBILITY! From the first time I heard the Dr. say “That’s your baby there”, I knew I had to do everything I could to ensure that my baby would grow up to all that they could be.
As new Moms staring at our ultrasound pictures we always wonder what they will be when they grow up, what they will look like, what features they will take from their parents, if they are a boy or girl but despite all that the conversations always end with……………………..
I just want them to be healthy.
Unfortunately in the world we live in, being healthy is something we have to actively pursue. It isn’t something that just comes naturally, as ironic as that is. Our children are being polluted with chemicals from the time their heart beats for the first time. From the lotions we place on our growing belly to the nitrate full lunch meat we are told not to consume~ it is overwhelming. And as we welcome our little ones into the world, we promise them that we will do everything we can to keep them healthy. It’s companies like Seventh Generation and other companies supporting our Earth and our children, that make this promise possible.
This is my baby now- smiling because she knows her Mama loves her and she loves being outside!
We opt to use Seventh Generation diapers that not only keep my baby healthy but support the world around her. Seventh Generation diapers are free of toxic chemicals, toxins, fragrances, chlorine, and petroleum based lotions which are all harmful to your baby and the ecosystem ( For more information on Seventh Generation diapers and cute pictures of my little one~ check out our last post on Seventh Generation diapers!). They opt to use sustainable materials, creating the same effectiveness of other diapers but without all the harmful chemicals for your baby and the environment. WHY NOT!
Considering a baby uses an average of 2,000 diapers in their first year…..that would be a whole lot of pollution and toxin exposure. By making the switch, you are doing one easy thing to #Freeyourbaby!
We have also made a healthy switch for our baby by swapping our regular laundry detergent for Seventh Generations eco-friendly detergent. Their detegerent is available at mass stores making it super easy to make the switch! Featuring NO optical brighteners synthetic fragrances or dyes~ Seventh Generation’s detergent is hypoallergenic and 96% biobased!
These are just 2 ways you can #Freeyourbaby from toxic chemicals. What other things have you been doing to ensure your baby’s health? Be sure to check out Seventh Generation on their website and on Facebook to see more great products to help your family stay healthy!
