I received Garden of Life vegan prenatal vitamins to facilitate this review. Please remember that these are my experiences and not a guarantee for you. As always, check with your doctor before starting a vitamin or supplement.
When you decide to expand your family, there are a lot of things to think about. First and foremost, is to make sure you’re getting everything you need so you can grow a healthy baby! For most of us, that means making sure you take a quality prenatal vitamin.
Since I have recently transitioned, it was extra important that I find a good vegan prenatal vitamin when my husband and decided to start “trying.” I am still learning how to make sure I get everything I need in my meals so it definitely makes sense that I would take a supplement. Thankfully, Garden of Life came to my rescue!
Garden of Life is a company dedicated to bringing whole food, non-GMO, quality food supplements of all kinds to everyone.
At Garden of Life, we believe that health matters. That’s why we have been, still are and always will be committed to the highest quality standards in our products.
When they sent me a big bottle of their mykind Organics Prenatal Multi, I was so excited! It is GMO-Free, gluten free, USDA Organic, and certified Vegan. It comes in a recyclable glass bottle and it contains B12 and Vitamin D3~ both notoriously hard to find in vegan supplements.
I want to copy and paste the entire page that tells all about the Prenatal Multi because there is so much information that you need to know.
- absolutely no synthetic binders or fillers
- REAL FOODS, provide what you need in a natural form
- patent-pending Clean Tablet Technology™ – an entirely new way to make vitamins using only Certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project verified foods
- none of our Clean Tablet Technology ingredients come from soy or corn
A lot of women have a hard time taking prenatal vitamins because of nausea. Garden of Life thought ahead and added peppermint and ginger to help make sure that you can take these in the oh-so-important first trimester, when nausea is most likely to occur. This is such a great feature! I was able to take these even though I was so sick my first trimester. They truly didn’t add to my nausea.
I took the mykind Organics Prenatal Multis for a few weeks before I went to my first prenatal appointment and all my labs came back great! I am now a fan of Garden of Life for well… life. The high quality of their products can’t be matched.
